The Bowes Museum commissioned five focus groups over 2½ days during summer 2007. The focus groups explored barriers to participation against existing marketing and promotion methods and all other aspects of the Museum’s interpretation strategy. The findings will be used to inform the way The Bowes Museum communicates with these audiences groups and also to inform its exhibition and events programme.
