Audiences North East (ANE) was commissioned to carry out visitor research at the Life Science Centre to investigate the following: 

  • Reason for visit
  • Communications methods
  • Perceptions of the Life Science Centre and customer satisfaction
  • Audience profile 

This research project was conducted through face-to-face interviews conducted by ANE staff with visitors to the Life Science Centre. The interviews took place over the school summer holidays between 18 July and 4 September 2009. The questionnaire used both quantitative and qualitative questions.
