Fee: £10,000 incl of VAT

About Waygood
Waygood is an artist-led gallery and studios, undergoing a major redevelopment to create a new cultural venue in the centre of Newcastle upon Tyne. When it re-opens in approximately 18 months time Waygood will offer a programme of contemporary art, in its public galleries, throughout the building and beyond, an engaging learning programme and creative facilities, artists’ studios for a community of studio and associate artists, office space and a café bar and club.
Role Description:
The appointed consultant will be responsible for the development and delivery of a wide-ranging fundraising strategy focusing initially but not exclusively on the areas below securing funds from a diverse range of contributors.
The successful candidate would work with Waygood staff, board and artists to research Waygood’s stories and use this knowledge to identity potential partners, collaborators and sponsors, devise and implement an income generation strategy for the following areas of work:
- Corporate Support Packages/Individual Giving campaigns
- Waygood Exhibition & programme activities
- Learning spaces and resources
- Waygood volunteer programme
Develop a strategy for sustaining development and fundraising work at Waygood with a focus on securing a post dedicated to this area.
