Kids in Museums Manifesto

Friday 15 January, 2010

The charity Kids in Museums have launched their 2010 manifesto which sets out 20 ways in which museums can make their offer more family friendly. The manifesto was launched at the British Museum on 14 January.

The charity, founded in 2003 after Guardian writer Dea Birkett's young son was thrown out of the Royal Academy for being too noisy, aims to promote family-friendly policies and attitudes throughout Britain.
